I am so honored to call you friend. You are amazing in everything you do! Not only am I poud that you won the race ,but the fact that you stopped to help a fellow racer and give away your last tube speaks volumes of what kind of person you are. One day your little girlies are going to say my mommy is a great example of who I want to be. Congratulations… all your hard work and dedication to the sport has paid off in more that one way. I’m sitting here on a quiet watch at the Coast Guard Command Center just wondering if my dear friend and superstar Dr. Kathy updated her blog yet with her race resutls… as predicted you did! Dear Kathy, perhaps you remember me from your time in germany/ahaus/especially coesfeld and playing some handball with me? I had some time at the moment (Our kids are sleeping) so I tried to google some formerly friends and here we are!! I really was happy to read that you are a doctor in chiropractice, it fits to you and also your huge sportactivities. (I`m sorry for my desastrous english, it`s been sleeping for so long..). At the moment I saw the pictures of you in your blog I was sure that this is Kathy from Vancouver (thank you for keeping your surename:-)). Dirk and I married in 2003, our daughter Finja was born 2005 and our son Arne in 2007. Dirk is working as a teacher (sport, music, geographie) and I am Diplom-Motologin (I don`t know a word in english, I do some specially kind of sport with handicaped children).
