Sports Nutrition Counseling

Learn how many carbohydrates you need during your training and during your athletic event. She will share with you what the best recovery foods are and when is a good time to refuel.

Individual Nutrition Counseling

Do you have nutrition questions about weight loss, sports nutrition, protein needs, the low-carb, or other fad diets? If you do, Rebecca Mohning can help. She will develop a nutrition plan based on your age, weight, height, gender, and activity level that will assure that you are getting appropriate protein, carbohydrate, fat, and calorie intake. You will receive a nutrition summary that will provide specific strategies to help you achieve your nutrition and fitness goals. Individual sessions and multiple session packages are available Family Nutrition Counseling Does your family need a nutritional makeover? If so, Rebecca can visit your family and help get each family member on track with the appropriate calories and nutrients for the whole family. She can help you with meal planning so meals are healthy and time saving.

Computerized Dietary Analysis

Learn how you can lose weight and still enjoy the foods you love. Improve energy levels by finding out how much protein, carbohydrate, fat, and calories you are currently consuming and learning how much you really need to reach your goals and weight management. You will record your food intake for 3 consecutive (normal) days and also log your exercise. Your records will be analyzed using my nutrition software program. The nutrition summary will provide individualized recommendations based on your nutrition and fitness goals. It will also include a list of any nutrients that your diet may be deficient in such as iron, zinc, or B vitamins. In addition, you receive a 30-minute consultation with registered dietitian, Rebecca Mohning.

Metabolic Testing

Do you think you will never lose weight because you have a slow metabolism? You can finally find out exactly what your individual metabolism is! You can learn how many calories you actually burn each day with a simple breathing test using the BodyGem® device. Once your RMR (resting metabolic rate) is measured, Rebecca will calculate how many calories you should eat each day to reach your weight management goal.
