Q: What can I expect on my first visit?
A: When you arrive for your appointment, you will need to sign in at the front desk.  You will then receive an initial registration and health history form, an office policy form, and a patient privacy acknowledgement form to fill out while we make a copy of your picture ID (and your insurance card, if needed).  When you are finished with your paperwork, the doctor or therapist will bring you back to a treatment room. If you are seeing one of our chiropractors, we kindly ask that you bring a pair of shorts or comfortable clothing for your initial exam and for all your future appointments, as it is easier for our doctors to perform chiropractic adjustments on their patients. 

Each visit, your doctor or therapist keeps extensive progress notes in order to ensure continuity in your care, no matter who may treat you thereafter.  We ask that you be very open and specific with your treating provider so that they may address your problems directly and accurately--we want you to leave feeling healthier, looser, and with less or no pain!

Q: Will you submit claims to my insurance?
A: We will submit claims if you would like us to, but only for chiropractic services.  Please keep in mind that some insurance policies may only cover a small percentage of chiropractic care after satisfying a deductible, and some policies do not cover chiropractic at all.  Please ask our staff about information regarding in- and out-of-network chiropractic coverage. 

We can also print out an itemized bill for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement for acupuncture, nutrition, or massage therapy services.  Be sure to check with your insurance company for specific information about your coverage for these services.

Q: What should I bring for my first visit?
A: We ask that all patients bring their driver’s license or picture ID. 

CHIROPRACTIC PATIENTS: you should also bring current x-rays or MRIs (and MRI reports) if you have them.  If you would like us to submit claims to insurance, please bring your insurance card.  Also, please bring a pair of shorts or comfortable clothing for your initial exam and for all future appointments, as it is easier for our doctors to perform chiropractic adjustments on their patients.

Q: How much does each visit cost?
A: CHIROPRACTIC: If you have insurance that covers chiropractic services, please call the customer service number on your card to get specific benefit information. If you will not be using insurance, the new patient exam is $125.  If x-rays are taken, they are $48 a film.  The report of findings (usually your second visit) is $105.  All follow-up visits thereafter are $60 each.

ACUPUNCTURE: New patient consultations (which include your first acupuncture treatment) are $125.  All follow-up visits thereafter are $75 each.  The cost of herbal supplements, if needed, will vary.

NUTRITION: New patient consultations are $95.  Resting metabolic rate tests are $65.  All nutritional follow-up visits are $50 each.

MASSAGE:
15 minutes: $27
30 minutes: $48
45 minutes: $63
60 minutes: $80
90 minutes: $120
